Well, the orginal movie received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song, and the remake stars Alex Pettyfer in a role that might have him taking his clothes off almost as much as he did in Magic Mike.

Pettyfer plays a bad influence by the name of David, who is two whole years older than shy bookworm Jade (Gabriella Wilde), whom he meets when her family comes to stay at the inn where David works as a valet. After a joyride and some longing gazes they’re soon making sweet love in front of a roaring fireplace while subtitles warn the audience to, “Say goodbye to innocence.”
